Privacy policy
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
As required by Law 25, Traitement au bitume 3 Diamants has designated a person in charge of the protection of personal information. This person ensures compliance with this policy and handles the requests we receive.

2. Personal information we collect
We only collect the information you voluntarily provide through the quote, contact or careers forms:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address (optional)
- The address or area of the work (quote form)
- The service requested
- Any project details you choose to include in your message
3. Technical information and security logs
To protect the administration area against intrusion attempts, we temporarily store the IP address associated with failed login attempts. This data is deleted automatically after 15 minutes.
We do not collect any sensitive information within the meaning of Law 25 (including health, biometric or financial information). The site does not collect your geolocation.
4. Purposes of collection
Your information is used only for the following purposes:
- Responding to your request and communicating with you
- Preparing and sending a quote
- Scheduling and carrying out the requested work
- Processing an application received through the Careers form
- Securing the site and preventing unauthorized access
5. Consent
By submitting a form, you consent to our use of the information provided for the purposes described above. This consent is free, informed and given for specific purposes.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to tr3diamants@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from acting on your quote request.
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
This site uses no advertising cookies, no analytics tools and no profiling technology. Only strictly necessary cookies are used:
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers your language choice (French or English).
- admin_session: keeps the session open in the administration area reserved for the company. This cookie is never created for site visitors.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. It is shared only with the providers that host and deliver our data, and only to the extent necessary:
- Neon (hosting of the database where requests are stored)
- Formspree (delivering the notification email to the company)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery)
8. Information stored outside Quebec
Our hosting providers store and process information outside Quebec, including in the United States (us-east-1 (Virginie, États-Unis)). Your information may therefore be subject to the laws of another jurisdiction.
In accordance with section 17 of Law 25, a privacy impact assessment is carried out before any communication of personal information outside Quebec, to ensure it receives adequate protection.
9. Retention period
We keep your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for the period required by law.
Quote and contact requests are kept for the duration of the business relationship and for up to three (3) years after the last contact, after which they are destroyed or anonymized. Login attempt logs are deleted after 15 minutes.
10. Security measures
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- Encryption of communications between your browser and the site (TLS/HTTPS)
- Restricted-access database protected by confidential credentials
- Administration area protected by a password and a signed session
- Rate limiting on login attempts to counter automated attacks
- Access to information limited to those who need it
11. Your rights
Law 25 grants you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of the information we hold about you
- Right to rectification: have inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information corrected
- Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent at any time
- Right to de-indexing and deletion: request that the dissemination or use of your information cease, in the cases provided by law
- Right to portability: receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format
12. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information at tr3diamants@gmail.com, or call 819-996-1623. We will respond within a maximum of 30 days of receiving your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
13. Automated decision-making
No decision concerning you is made based exclusively on automated processing of your personal information. Every request is reviewed by a person.
14. Confidentiality incidents
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify you promptly and inform the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, as required by law. A register of incidents is maintained.
15. Complaint to the Commission d'accès à l'information
If you are dissatisfied with how your request was handled, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca, or by phone at 1 888 528-7741.
16. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The last updated date appears at the top of this page. We invite you to review it periodically.
